Question: Why did God send Moses to Egypt to free Israel and hardened the heart of Pharaoh to not let His people go?
The whole account is indicative of the battle between God and Satan; with Pharaoh taking the Satan position!
The whole purpose is to bring a people (the Jews), to a point of acceptance of God’s undying love for them, and together with the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, be in a position to relate with God for Eternity, in the “New Creation”; see Rev. 21–22.
Thus far; Israel has rejected Christ Jesus as their Messiah; and their teachers say that the Jewish messiah has yet to appear, and that he will be of human stock only!
They have been in this position (Lo-Ammi), since Acts 28:25–28; and will remain so until Zech.12:10 events are enacted!
There is at present on Earth, a looming battle between the Western Nations and the Eastern, mainly Arab (Ishmael). The outcome will be decisive for the world, into the next phase!
